Love in the Time of Cholera

One of literature's greatest love stories becomes an affecting and evocative period piece adapted from Gabriel García Márquez's classic novel. Javier Bardem stars as a jilted Colombian with a lifelong passion for one beautiful woman (Giovanna Mezzogiorno), whose class-conscious father (John Leguizamo) has forced to marry a wealthy doctor (Benjamin Bratt).
