The sophomore studio long-player from the nihilistic, Grayslake, Illinois-based metalcore outfit, the Razor & Tie-issued The Lovers/The Devil is a largely conceptual affair that chronicles the slow and painful demise of a destructive relationship, with one half of the record (The Lovers) focusing on romantic desperation and the other (The Devil) on bitterness and paranoia.
