This intelligent and offbeat comedy drama from Mexico gets a fine presentation for its DVD release in the United States. Lucía, Lucía has been given two transfers for this release, which presents the film in letterboxed form at the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1 (enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors), as well as a pan-and-scan version at the full-frame ratio of 1.33:1. The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1. The dialogue is in Spanish with optional English subtitles. Bonus material includes a short documentary on the making of the film and an audio commentary from director Antonio Serrano.
