Ludwig Minkus: Don Quichot [Video]

Ludwig Minkus's 1869 ballet +Don Quixote (which he adapted from the seminal novel by Miguel de Cervantes) returns to the stage courtesy of the Amsterdam Music Theatre in this 2010 interpretation, choreographed by Marius Petipa, Alexander Gorsky, and Alexei Ratmansky. The production co-stars anna Tsygankova as 5Kitri, Natalia Hoffmann as Mercedes, Matthew Golding as Basilio, and Peter de Jong in the title role. It was produced and directed by Jeff Tudor and Adrienne Liron; Jérôme Kaplan designed the sets and costumes.
