This mob thriller shows a fictionalized version of the Canadian mafia's long-term rule. The story follows the life of Sicilian-originated mobster godfather Frank Paterno, who reigns in the underworld of Quebec where he started grooming local boy Vince Gamache, the son of the clean-cut tailor dressing up their mob clan for years. But as Vince gains notoriety and power, Frank's son starts to get jealous, resulting in a bloody rivalry between families.
