Mahler: Symphony No. 2

The Staatsoper Unter der Linden in Berlin mounted the classical concert that appears in this release, on March 26-27, 2005. It features Staatskapelle Berlin symphonic interpretations of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 in C minor 'Resurrection', performed under the baton of maestro Pierre Boulez, with vocal support from the Chor der Deutschen Staatsoper Berlin and two soloists: soprano Diana Damrau and mezzo-soprano Petra Lang.Eberhard Friedrich serves as choral master.
