Matador

Killer buddy comedy about a hitman (Pierce Brosnan) on the run from clients who he's let down, and the down-on-his luck salesman (Greg Kinnear) he meets in Mexico City and recruits to help him dodge the bullet. Richard Shepard directed and wrote the whacked-out script. Hope Davis is a delight as Kinnear's much-beloved wife, who greets the hired assassin with the line, "Did you bring your gun?"
