Matthew Morrison's Broadway training shines on this debut album, which features a mix of well-scrubbed pop/rock and smooth adult contemporary balladry. Released during the tail end of Glee's second season, the album was preceded by its lead single, "Summer Rain," and features guest appearances by Elton John and occasional Glee co-star Gwyneth Paltrow.
