The eighth album from veteran contemporary gospel artist Byron Cage, Memoirs of a Worshipper was recorded live at Chicago's Christ Universal Temple. Once again, Cage is assisted by arranger and producer Aaron Lindsey and is backed by a full band with several background vocalists, all of whom contribute to the artist's bright, energetic sound. Highlights include the Top Ten Billboard Gospel single "Great & Mighty," the invigorating "Victory," and the solemn, moving "You." Guest appearances come from Fred Hammond, Clifton Ross, Pastor Charles Jenkins, and Mumen "Mookie" Ngege.
