Mesa of Lost Women

Known under various titles, Mesa of Lost Women is widely regarded as the worst horror film ever made (including Plan 9 From Outer Space!) Jackie Coogan, light years away from his kiddie-star glory, plays mad scientist Dr. Aranya, who spends his waking hours creating a race of "spider people." Aranya's associate Masterson (Harmon Stevens), belatedly seeing the light, rescues a group of castaways from becoming human arachnids themselves. This one concludes with a variation of the old chestnut "The End...or Is It?" Take our word for it: It is.
