Miracle Fishing: Kidnapped Abroad

This documentary is about the filmmaker's trauma and hardships their family faced in the 1990s when his journalist father disappeared in Colombia due to a kidnap-for-ransom scheme done by drug cartel members known as "miracle fishing." The experience left his family trying to figure out how to retrieve their father themselves since his father's employer didn't want to pay for the ransom.
