Modern Jazz at the Village Vanguard

A pair of sets by the jazz outifit Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers and recorded at New York's legendary Village Vanguard are brought together for this release from Idem Home Video. The first features a lineup that includes both Wynton and Branford Marsalis with such songs as "Fuller Love" and "My Ship." Among the numbers performed in the second show are "I Can't Get Started" and "Yard Bird Suite."
