This two-fer from Wounded Bird collects two of Robyn Hitchcock's mid-'90s offerings, Moss Elixir and Mossy Liquor. Cut from the same surreal cloth (and recorded at the same time), the albums are mirror images of each other, with the former coming in as the "official" release and the latter containing the overflow. It's some of his strongest post-Egyptians work, and having them both (Mossy Liquor was previously only available on vinyl) in the same Hitchcockian green package will please both longtime fans and newcomers alike. ~ James Christopher Monger
