NOVA: The Pluto Files

Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson examines the outrage that many people felt when Pluto was stripped of its status as a planet. The doc features appearances by Diane Sawyer, Brian Williams, Jon Stewart and noted Pluto booster Stephen Colbert, plus astrophysicists and science historians on both sides of the issue. Tyson also travels to Walt Disney World to learn if Pluto, the popular Disney character, was named after the planet, and visits the hometown of Pluto's discoverer, Clyde Tombaugh.
