Death metal pioneers Obituary's 2017 self-titled record marks their tenth full-length studio album. Three decades into their career, Obituary show no signs of compromise on a collection that is as heavy as anything they've committed to tape. The follow-up to 2014's Inked in Blood was recorded at the band's own studio in Tampa, Florida, and its release was preceded by the lead single "Ten Thousand Ways to Die" and an accompanying animated video directed by Balázs Gróf. ~ Bekki Bemrose
