Fresh from an Emmy win for Outstanding Comedy Series, the 2007-08 season of the workplace mockumentary delves even further into the tedium of daily office life, including the company's struggle to enter the "digital age," the production of a local TV commercial, and the constant threat of a bored-employee insurrection. This volume also follows Michael's out-of-control relationship with the increasingly unstable Jan (Melora Hardin), culminating in a bitterly hysterical dinner party that many in the office are forced to endure.
