The story of a mogul who feels he has done nothing important. Humberto Suárez reflects on his eightieth birthday that he hasn't left anything to be remembered. Throwing his wealth behind it, he decides the best way to make his mark is through film. His assistant hires avant-garde director Lola Cuevas, giving her carte blanche to cast the film. She decides the best way to proceed is to hire opposites; shallow film actor Félix Rivero and veteran stage performer Iván Torres.
