On Broadway is a behind-the-scenes look at many of the most iconic Broadway productions, guided by a number of the top stars of the stage. It traces the stories of these productions, as well as how close Broadway came to shutting down in the 1970s. The film includes performances from James Earl Jones, Patti Lupone, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mandy Patinkin, and Bernadette Peters.
