Widower Ed Schmitt is taking care of a sick three-year-old daughter. She desperately needs a liver transplant, a medical and financial feat that Ed must face and overcome for his daughter to survive. Hairdresser Sharon Stevens steps in to help facilitate funds and logistics to help the father-daughter tandem. However, they will soon face a catastrophic snowstorm, a larger enemy that blocks their way.
