JJ Lawhorn was only 17 when he signed a recording contract with Colt Ford's Average Joes Entertainment after he was discovered through his amateur song postings on YouTube. This, his debut album, produced by Jeremy Stover, features Lawhorn, now 19 years old, delivering songs (he wrote or co-wrote all of them here) that fit right in with Average Joes' stable of outlaw, maverick mud-bogging country artists outside the Nashville music establishment.
