The sixth long-player from the Swiss folk-metal ensemble led by Chrigel Glanzmann, the Nuclear Blast-issued Origins is the first new collection of music from the group to feature guitarist Rafael Salzmann, who took over for Simeon Koch, and Nicole Ansperger, who took over for longtime violinist Meri Tadic. Produced by Tommy Vetterli (Kreator, Coroner), the 16-track album is built around mythological tales from Gaul, and features album artwork from Glanzmann, who designed the cover around the hammer of Sucellus, the Gaulish god of agriculture and adult-style beverages. ~ James Christopher Monger
