The sophomore effort from Opus 5, 2012's Pentasonic showcases the adventurous Criss Cross label supergroup's post-bop sound. Once again featured on the album are the talents of group members saxophonist Seamus Blake, trumpeter Alex Sipiagin, pianist David Kikoski, bassist Boris Kozlov, and drummer Donald Edwards.
