Seven-year-old Nora is inconsolable as her father drops her off at her new school. Being a new kid and not knowing anyone, she finds great solace in the presence of Abel, her beloved older brother. He, however, uncharacteristically pushes her away, commanding her not to associate with him in front of his rowdy friends. Though heartbroken, she obliges until she discovers the reason behind her brother's actions. She must now choose between saving him or herself.
