Playlist: The Very Best of the Outfield

As the fourth Outfield compilation -- and first since 1998 -- Playlist covers a lot of familiar ground. Its 14 tracks have the great majority of the group's hits: "Your Love," "All the Love," "Say It Isn't So," "Since You've Been Gone," "Bangin' on My Heart," "Voices of Babylon," and "For You" are all here, the only missing singles being "Everytime You Cry" and "Closer to Me." Frankly, they're not missed all that much because the major hits are here, making this as solid an Outfield compilation as any released previously. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
