Martha (Diane Keaton) has just made the move to a retirement community. Previously a cheerleader in high school, she is inspired by the residents in the community to start a cheerleading squad with a motley crew of individuals such as Alice (Rhea Perlman), Olive (Pam Grier) and Sheryl (Jacki Weaver). The team bonds as they laugh, joke and cry, but a shocking secret about Martha threatens to derail their training in this comedy directed and co-written by Zara Hayes.
