Portland, Oregon-based indie rockers The Decemberists are known for their complex narratives, layered chiming, and folk-flavored acoustics, and with this release featuring a full-length concert, five music videos, and a documentary short entitled Paris Before the War fans are offered both a wealth of music and a revealing look behind the scenes as well. The live performance was captured at Portland's Roseland Theater on November 4, 2005, and the music videos include "The Tain", "The Bachelor and the Bridge", "16 Military Wives", "The Soldiering Life", and "Here I Dreamt I was an Architect".
