Prime Gig

Gregory Mosher's thriller The Prime Gig comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1 and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame image. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence. Although the disc is technically sound, the lack of extras make it hard to recommend it to anyone other than genre enthusiasts.
