The debut album from CNCO, 2016's Primera Cita, showcases the group's dynamic mix of Latin pop and dance-oriented R&B. The album follows in the wake of the group's hugely successful year after winning the first season of the televised vocal competition La Banda. Showcased in CNCO are the multi-national talents of Christopher Velez (Ecuador), Erick Brian Colon (Cuba), Joel Pimentel (Mexico), Richard Camacho (Dominican Republic) and Zabdiel de Jesus (Puerto Rico). Together, they make a hooky brand of harmonized Latin pop that combines traditional and contemporary influences.
