Prokofiev: Symphony No. 1 "Classical"/Violin Concerto in D, Opus 19

This disc captures a performance of Sergei Prokofiev's famous Violin Concerto in D by the Russian Federation State Symphany Orchestra conducted by Yevgeny Svetlanov. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. The soundtrack does a decent job of capturing the nuances of the music. Although there is little here for the average DVD consumer, classical music enthusiasts and those with a fondness for the violin are sure to enjoy this Image release.
