QUEST FOR CAMELOT is an animated film that depicts the fight for love, honor and justice in the days of King Arthur. Magic swords, dragons and griffins abound as the movie weaves its magical tale. Also in abundance are superstar vocalists, who give voice to the characters' emotional plaints throughout the film. Represented on this soundtrack album, those songs stand on their own as a cohesive piece of recorded work. Pop-opera crossover star Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, Bryan Adams and former Journey frontman Steve Perry all contribute their tonsils to the cause. Comedic relief is supplied by the acrimonious duet by Eric Idle and Don Rickles on "If I Didn't Have You."
