Cecil B. Demille's rousing Reap the Wild Wind comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.33:1. English and Spanish soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible, and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include biographies of the cast and crew, and the trailer. This is a fine release from Universal.
