A spoof on politics involves a fearsome lion, a mayoral candidate and the idealistic daughter of a zookeeper with whom he falls in love after she joins his campaign in an attempt to get her father's job back after he was fired by the incumbent machine. Stars Dick Powell and June Allyson were married at the time.
