Rest & Relaxation

Music has long been a tool used to de-stress the body and mind though calming tones, gentle melodies, and subtle aural enhancements. Many people use specific mood-based music such as the Reflections of Nature label's Rest & Relaxation collection for meditation and yoga, to reduce anxiety, as a sleep aid, or simply to unwind after a stressful day. The collection, which spans two discs, pairs tranquil synthesizers, guitars, pianos, and instruments like soprano sax with the natural sounds of gentle waves on a shoreline and running water. The album is entirely instrumental with unobtrusive lead melodies, instead focusing on creating an easy mood and promoting a healthy, relaxed state. ~ Timothy Monger
