Revolting Dead/The 13th Sign

REVOLTING DEAD: Ribbing the genre even as it administers some real scares, this gruesomely humorous horror film follows the Crain family, who operate the funeral home in the remote town of Tehachapi Flats. Their catalogue of services contains the all the regular offerings, but the Crains cut corners in some unsual ways, robbing graves and recycling their coffins. One night, however, the unlucky family's greed gets the best of them, when they disturb the final resting place of one Jonathan Drue, a Druid priest. His priestess sister vows to extract vengeance, and resurrects much of the graveyard's population, all of whom have been scandalized by the Crains' questionable business practices. A grisly rampage of revenge ensues.

THE 13TH SIGN: With a past fraught with horror, Lany is plagued by memories of her father, who went of a murderous rampage on her 8th birthday. After killing 15 people, he turned the gun on himself, but Lany has been forced to live in the shadow of these unspeakable crimes. Now, the realization is growing that Lany must return to face the terrors of her childhood, as something evil is lurking somewhere in that small town, and Lany is the only one who can stop it. Forced to battle demons in order to protect her soul, Lany faces the entire town in order to keep in check the evil that lies within.
