When a muscle car driver picks up a drifter for reasons of her own, the two never expected the world of pain that would come their way as a result. Their travels put them clearly in the path of Sheriff John Teagan, who is on the lookout for suspects in a series of gruesome murders. When circumstances line up just right for the two to be the primary candidates for arrest, they end up in a desperate fight for their lives.
