Fred Astaire's 1951 romantic musical Royal Wedding comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The English soundtrack is decent, but is not anything spectacular. This is a bare bones release, but fans of Astaire may find the inexpensive list price worthwhile. All in all, there is little here for the average DVD consumer.
