Immigration attorney Judy Wood takes the case of an Afghan woman named Asefa, who was threatened by the Taliban for opening a girls school. Asefa is denied entry to the United States because women aren't part of a protected class. The case ends up going all the way to the United States Court of Appeals, where Judy challenges American asylum law.
