Salsa Picante [Laserlight]

EMI-Capitol Special Markets' Salsa Picante is an entertaining sampler of hot, infectious salsa from the likes of Willie Gonzalez, Tommy Olivencia, Juan Manuel Lebron, Lalo Rodriguez, Camilo Azuquita, Max Torres, Paquito Guzman and Angel Javier. There are a few big hits and a few forgotten cuts, so it doesn't add up to a definitive introduction by any means, but curious listeners looking for a budget-priced collection of contemporary salsa are unlikely to walk away dissatisfied. ~ Terry Jenkins
