Featuring his sympathetic accompanying band Luna Negra, THE SCENT OF LIGHT showcases varied multi-cultural influences in a tranquil aural atmosphere. Each track represents a distinct impression of times and places--Cologne, Marseilles, Utah, and India, among others--drawn from Liebert's extensive world travels. As such, the traditional instrumentation and chord structures further evoke each song's nomadic theme.
