During the '80s, some of Kate Bush's most successful collaborations were those with Peter Gabriel ("Games Without Frontiers," "Don't Give Up"), and Gabriel's habit of appropriating world music must have certainly rubbed off. Featured artists include violinist Nigel Kennedy, Davey Spillane, Trio Bulgarka, Eberhard Weber, and her brother, multi-instrumentalist Paddy Bush.

Standout tracks include the title track, which was adapted from Joyce's ULYSSES, as well as "Love and Anger" and "Walk Straight Down the Middle." An added treat is "This Woman's Work," a song featured in John Hughes' movie SHE'S HAVING A BABY. A commercially ignored CD from an unusually talented performer.
