Sex Money Drugs could be the title of any one of the other compilations released to celebrate the Rap-A-Lot label's 25th anniversary. Along with the likes of Number 1 Streets Hits, Swagger Check, and Crazy & Psychotic, this mid-line disc contains a handful of well-known cuts and draws deep from the label's catalog for the remainder of the selections. Most of the usual suspects are represented here, including Scarface ("Mary Jane"), Pimp C ("It's a Playa"), the Geto Boys ("Gangsta Put Me Down"), Devin the Dude ("Pu**y Like Dope"), and Bun B ("Pop It for Pimp"). Like the rest of the discs in the series, it's not essential, but it's a convenient way to obtain a mixed bag of the label's output. ~ Andy Kellman
