Shadows and Light [Video/DVD]

One of the finest singer-songwriters of her generation, Joni Mitchell took the stage with an all-star jazz ensemble (including Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius, Lyle Mays, Michael Brecker, and Don Alias) for this 1979 concert video, originally broadcast on PBS and now restored for DVD release. Joni Mitchell: Shadows and Light has been transferred to disc in its original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the original stereo audio (mastered in PCM Stereo) is accompanied by a surround remix in Dolby Digital 5.1. The songs are performed in English, with no multiple language options. A photo gallery of Mitchell's 1979 tour appears as a bonus.
