This double feature presents two vintage 1940s adventure-thrillers. Based on a story by Jack London, SIGN OF THE WOLF is about a dog trainer who loses one of his dogs after a plane crash in the Canadian wilds only to see it resurface as a fox-raider raised by thieves. CRACK-UP is a classic crime thriller with Pat O'Brien as an art expert who stumbles upon an elaborate art-forgery plot. The crooks seek to dispose of the nuisance by driving him to the brink of mental disintegration.
