Singles Collection & More: 1960-1962

Not Bad's 2014 compilation contains one disc of singles recorded between 1960 and 1962 and a second CD featuring the album I Cover the Waterfront, which was released in 1962. The first disc contains Alphonso with a few other artists -- Roy & Millie, Eric Morris, and Derrick Morgan among them -- which helps showcase the range of what the saxophonist was doing in these early years of his career. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
