For its third full-length studio album, SLIPAWAY FIRES, the British alt-rock act Razorlight opts for a more intimate outing. Tempering fast-paced, guitar-heavy tunes with pensive piano ballads (see the plaintive single "Wire to Wire"), the record gives brash Britpop poster boy Johnny Borrell a chance to reveal his introspective side.
