Airing on ABC-TV from 1977 to 1981, SOAP parodies the conventions in of the soap opera in its story of 2 families, the Tates and the Campbells, and all their adventures and disagreements--which include everything from infidelity to insanity to alien abduction. The series is also notable for having one of the first openly gay characters in prime time television--Jodie Dallas (Billy Crystal). All 23 episodes from the second season are included on these 3 DVDs.
