Coincident with her 1996 debut album, Dreamland, the gifted and incredibly prolific young vocalist Madeleine Peyroux earned widespread and deserved comparisons to Billie Holiday for her unique vocal stylings and phrasings on jazz and blues recordings. Peyroux headlines this intimate concert film, performed and shot at a Los Angeles club in January 2009 before a live audience.
