Song of Seven

This Jon Anderson solo effort features the Yes singer seeking more pop-oriented pastures than on his progressive masterpiece OLIAS OF SUNHILLOW. The synthesized rhythm of "For You For Me" roots the song firmly in the 1980s, while "Don't Forget" takes the singer in an uncharacteristically rock & roll direction. The Yes-like "Everybody Loves You" explores more familiar musical territory, while the album's title track finds Anderson sure-footedly playing to his strengths in an esoteric exploration of the number seven, complete with pastoral interludes and a children's chorus.
