A diverse group of musicians all inspired by the majestic works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart come together on the stage of Vienna's Museums Quartier to pay tribute to the composer whose music has undoubtedly withstood the test of time in this release of a 2006 concert featuring singer Dee Dee Bridgewater, pianist Edsel Gomez, flutist Ian Anderson, soprano Christiane Oelze, violinist Benjamin Schmid, guitarist Bireli Lagrene, bassist Georg Breinschmid, soprano Amira Selim, and guitarist Michael "Pogo" Kreiner. Conductor Andrey Boreyko leads the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra in providing the musical backdrop to a spectacular night of song and celebration.
