Starry Starry Night

Singer-songwriter Don McLean headlines this concert, taped in Austin in November 1999. He is joined by Garth Brooks and Nanci Griffith for the finale, his signature song "American Pie" (he also performs it solo). Brooks solos on McLean's "Empty Chairs," and Griffith joins McLean for "Raining in My Heart" and "And I Love You So." McLean's solos include "Castles in the Air," Roy Orbison's "Crying," Marty Robbins' "Singin' the Blues,""Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)" and "Fashion Victim."
